Does anyone else think that nearly £17 is a lot to pay for a solo camper....non electric in a small tent is a lot to pay as a non c & c club member...I certainly do

Im with you on that one stewey a bit expensive but like John says your paying a surcharge for not being a member. I paid £5.00 last week at Carriage House with spotless toilets and showers although I hasten to add it wasnt c & c club .

Cheers all for your posts...I just fancied a one nighter but didnt know about surcharge..il either have to bite me lip n pay extra or find somewere else .I dont visit many c &cc sites thats why ive never joined...in hindsite I do visit one quite often..me the wife..large tent and dont pay anywere near the price I was quoted to pay
I agree it does seem a lot for one person for one night on a non-EHU pitch.
However, that's one of the reasons to join C&CC, to avoid having to pay non-member surcharge.

Yeah I agree, it sounds steep, nearly vertical haha.
We payed £24 for one night, 2 adults, 2 children, no EHU in Woodhall Spa last month & I thought that was steep.
We aren't tight by any means, however, I don't see the value of paying more than £20 per night to camp. We usually pay between £10-£20 per night. I'm happy with that.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
