I've done a search for campsites in North Yorkshire, the ones that I like the look of don't accept Trailer Tents.

Can anyone recommend a campsite for camping with good facilities near the coast? Primarily we want nice toiltets & showers and a play park for the little'un.

have you tried Jasmine Park near Pickering....its lovely, spotlessly clean toilets and a little park for kids...really quiet..

Was also going to suggest Jasmine Park, nice site, good facilities and in a lovely area, midway between Pickering and Scarborough

I don't know about trailer tents - but the site we go to accepts tents (only a couple at a time though).

It is South Lea in Pocklington. On the outskirts of York. There is a small play area for children and one toilet block. (it is predominantly caravans).

40 minute drive to Bridlington or Scarbrough.

15 minute drive into York.

10 minute walk into the village.
