Hi This will have been asked before no doubt but,has anyone found a truly quiet camp site, usually travel solo with a tent so large sites are too noisy, looking for sites in N/Yorkshire/Cumbria /Lakes, Some are advertised as quiet but reading some of the reviews seem to be the opposite

A lot depends on when. In school hols any site can be noisy but out of school hols I think pretty much all of the sites we have used have been quiet. Unfortunately we don't go up north so cannot offer suggestions.

CS sites are often very quiet mid-week and I have also been during the school holidays and been the only unit on site!
