We lost our holiday in the summer as my husband was made redundant, naturally the kids were gutted. I'm looking at a wk in October now that my husband is back at work but as you can imagine we're playing catch up so can't afford to pay to much. I've been looking at private caravans and found quite a few between £150- £200 which is pretty much my budget. As will have to pay train expenses too. Sadly most at this price seem to be booked already. If anyone rents out their caravan and its available from oct 26th - nov 2nd at an affordable price I'd be really interested in hearing from you, it would need to sleep 6, myself, husband and for kids and preferably with things too do in local area and shops etc (maybe train station) near by. I'd love to get my kids a holiday this yr so much appreciate you reading this.

have you looked at megabus for cheap train fares? If you book exact train well in advance you can get some real bargains. Otherwise rail cards can help. I hope you find something to enjoy
