We have booked to visit this site in October. We are staying at the Knaresborough site for a few days then moving on to Hawes. The route from Knaresborough to Hawes looks ok but we are a bit worried about going home to Edinburgh via the M6 since we read that the Sedburgh route is a no go.Can anyone advise or would we be better going back out to the A1.
Any advice would be great.

Hawes to Leyburn onto Bedale and onto A1 North would be the route I would take. You could also go from Leyburn to Richmond and onto Scotch Corner but I would choose the first option.
