Brick tent for us. The shame. But that's only because they don't allow tents at Butlitz and that's really where we want to be in Feb. I would camp if I could.

We often go to Galloway. That part of Scotland is relatively mild at that time of year, and the Snowdrop Festival in Scotland runs throughout Feb - there are so many other places to visit in the area: Dunskey, Cally etc. Garlieston CS is open then, with wonderful walks in the snowdrop woods of next door Garlieston House (free entry).
