Hi guys Here's my situation:
I'm selling my home and planning on touring the UK in my touring caravan. The sale is plannned for April 18th, so I will be touring from that date. I know it's bad timing, being Good Friday!

I'm hoping to start close to home, due to a couple of factors, so looking for Norwich/Yarmouth/Cromer areas for a few weeks, then I will go further afield. My cat will be coming with me, which he's never done before, but he tends to stick to me like glue so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I'd like to find a good campsite that is adults only, and budget will be tight, as the longer the money lasts, the longer I can carry on!

Can someone recommend a site in the area, taking all the above into account? I will have electric hook up and awning.

Thanks

I don't know any specific ones but these may be a good starting point and seem to be adult only.

Can't help with sites in that area, but I would suggest joining the Caravan Club so that you can use the Certificated Locations (CLs), sites for 5 vans which vary from a tap and chemical disposal in a field to sites with loos and showers. You can pay as little as £9-£10 per night with ehu. We are at a CL in Horncastle just now, £10, it's perfectly ok.

It all depends on whether you would use your onboard loo and shower.

My Brother n sis in law did this for a year. they sold house, used Dad's address for mailing. They stayed on a lot of farmers fields (with permission) they had all own facilities, majority of these were under £10 a night, they thoroughly enjoyed it. Saw a lot, saved a lot and now live in a mobile home... good luck, enjoy!
