We would like to go to the Lake District at tbe end of July for 5 nights. Hubbie would like a campsite with a view of one of the Lake's and I have whiittled it down to Castlerigg Hall and Cove Caravan and Camping campsites. There will be us and our uni aged children and border terrier in our Eriba caravan and awning. We like quiet sites where we can walk to pub /village if possible.
My dilemma is that from what I read the Lake's will be heaving at this time. Would Cove C&C be better as it will be quieter or Castlerigg Hall as you can walk into town from there.
Any help you could give would be really appreciated. I must make a decision soon or we won't be going anywhere!
