lenty of places to visit in North Devon, Lynton,Lynmouth, Exmoor, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Mortehoe,Croyde, Braunton,Barnstaple,Bideford,Instow,Appledore,WestwardHoe!,Hartland etc etc.
As regards beaches, the best are Woolacombe,Croyde,Saunton and Westward Hoe! Dogs allowed on all of these but at Woolacombe there is a designated area ( approx 1 mile of the 3 miles of beach) Dog heaven!
Plenty of campsites to suit all budgets from farmers fields to full blown all singing and dancing facilities.
Come on down you will not be disappointed.
North Devon is less populated than the south of the county and not as touristy but therein lies its beauty, the reason we retired here, extremely quiet but not overun like the south and Cornwall in the Summer.
