Think there's a cc site at longleat------------- From tents to trailer tents to a tin tent to an air tent to trailer tent and back to tin tent!

Hatton Country World / Farm Park near Warwick do camping in the summer holidays, lots of nice places to visit around that area. Or Midbrooks, Near Trowbridge is a more basic site but has animals, where you can help around feeding time, you can hire bikes cheaply on site and have real campfires. Have also look at Far Peak Camping in the cotswold - looks good for slightly older kids - they have climbing low ropes etc.------------- 2015 sites booked so far: Cotswold Farm Park, Ninham IOW, still some more to book

Crealy Meadows in Devon just by Exeter. That is Crealy theme park.
Had a special offer for free entry when you stay. Think it is now (£12 or something) for a weekly pass.

There is a campsite at Clumber Park in Notts. (for tents not the CC site). We are lucky to live fairly near and go a lot for days out.

Cotswold Farm Park is well worth a visit. I believe that if you are camping there you only pay once, and your entry ticket is valid for the whole of your stay. In addition lots of the rare breeds are in the field right alongside the campsite - - we enjoyed it.
