hiya going to a tribute band gig in Rotherham on sat14th june . decided to make a weekend of it. Nearest site listed on ukcampsites is about 5 miles away. Ideally would have liked to have been within walking distance of venue, does anyone know of anywhere in the vicinity of Rotherham where I could pitch up for 2 nights? farmers field or something like that.

     Do a search for Thrybergh country park,5 mins from rotherham and theres a bus stop so you can have a few bevvies and leave the car if you so wish.

I find it's a nice enough site too, Thrybergh, and the food's good at the café.
