1 night stop over southbound on Wednesday night required close by A66, Penrith area. Motorhome users. Any recommendations? Electric hook up and showers would be preferred, but no essential. Must be quiet. Thanks.

If your in the Caravan Club, there is the site near Richmond on the A66 at the far end, probably 30 mins passed Penrith, 10 mins from A1 Scorch Corner, its at the side of A66, all club facilities. There is a site just past Penrith on the main road, near Temple Sowerby, but I know nothing about that one think its called Low Moor Head. Good luck. x
