Hi, does anyone know of a campsite around Hope Valley in Derbyshire where you can pitch tents next to caravans?
We are planning to go away this weekend in our van with some friends who have a tent and would ideally like to pitch up next to one another rather than be in separate fields.

If both parties have C&CC membership (or are prepared to join), you can often pitch tents and caravans on adjacent pitches on Certificated Sites, such as this one.

Thanks for that. We are C&CC members but don't think our friends are. Unfortunately that one doesn't have any toilet/wash facilities which we would need.

Try Hardhurst Farm, not in Hope but nearer to Hathersage.

Another vote for hardurst farm. Been with caravan and friends allowed to pitch tent next to us ,travellers rest pub 200 yds away good food and great beer garden,a nice walk on footpath by river brings you to hope or carry on a little further and Castleton. If you feel a little more energetic you can walk into hope via Winn hill,a nice laid back friendly site
