My daughter and group of friends want to camp for a night or two, locally (Nottinghamshire area). A campsite would be unlikely to take a group of 16 year olds so they are thinking of just camping out somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Take a look on campsite search on here. There are Wild camping sites too. Maybe on search just request toilet/shower and nothing else. May get a site just a field with toilet facilities
How things have changed, this picture of my Mum and Dad was taken by Coniston lake ( i think ) around 1959, wild camping in the lake district, could you imagine it being allowed today.
