With the holiday season about to start our local news are as usual warning about the mud banks along the Burnham coast.
Anyone going for the first time please heed the warnings about the dangers of walking out on the sands at low tide. Much of the beach consists of a thin covering of sand over soft mud.
2 dog walkers rescued this week and one Vauxhall Frontera lost to the sea last night. Both regular occurances.

There are clear signs at frequent intervals along the beach at Brean...impossible not to see them and yet vehicles go beyond them regularly...certainly beats me. Perhaps some people just like living dangerously.
