Hi,

Can anyone suggest any caravan sites with electric hook up in the new forest area? It also needs to take tents.
To be honest I am struggling to find any suitible ones for one reason or another.

We always stay at Black Knowle Caravan Club site near Brockenhurst. But if you are not a member and especially if you also have children then I would recommend Long Meadow Campsite. Have a look at a few of the reviews. Its been improved greatly in the past couple of years.Massive pitches, walk out the gate and you are immediately in the forest. A herd of deer grazing in the next field. River bridge with swing ropes about 300 yards from the site.And within easy reach of loads of beaches from Calstock to Christchurch

Red Shoot is very nice. Depends when you want to go but Holmsley was like a refugee camp when we went....

We live very near to the CCC site in Verwood. Although not directly in the new Forest, it's a very short drive. Looks like a very nice site.

Harrowood farm takes both caravans and tents. A nice quiet site at Bransgore. Free carp fishing lake included too.
