Following a suggestion in the CC magazine, we are looking to stay at the Pembrey Country Park CC site as it appears to be ideal for our tribe of three kids plus two Springers.

Couple of questions for those who have been......

How expensive is the toboggan run? (10 year old son's question)

Can you get wifi at the site (I'm on Three network and don't want to fork out the high prices that CC charge)

Is the designated "dog bit" of the beach large?

Any other hints/tips much appreciated

ta muchly!

We are regulars at this site (we love it). I'm not sure how much the toboggan run is but in answer to your other questions

The only wifi is the caravan club wifi but 3G signal is good. You may be able to get wifi if you've one of those directional boost aerials but I don't have one so cant vouch for that

The designated dog area is huge but from October to April the whole 8 mile stretch of Cefn Sidan is dog friendly - its a fantastic beach but windy!

We love Pembrey country park just for the walking

I am local to the site and we use it regularly.

Don't know about toboggan run as our kids are now grown up.

My ee 3G works fine on the site.

The beach is 7 miles long, with only a few hundred yards of it being a no dog zone during the summer months.

You could now also consider staying within the country park itself.
