There are many to choose from.  Best bet would be to do a map radius search on here, look at the reviews and check out the location.

IMO the region is not blessed with "high quality" sites, though some are better than others.

Not in Tenby but close, you could try Freshwater East Cc site. In my younger days we always stopped near to Saundersfoot/Tenby but spent more time down in the Freshwater are than in Tenby. The beaches are quieter, and the parking much easier. From the site you walk 200 yards and you are on as fine a beach as you will find, quite close there are walks and places to see that are superb and Tenby is about 30 mins drive away.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Trevayn is very good for the area; about midway between Saundersfoot and Tenby.

If you're not too fussed about back to basics then Meadow Farm in Tenby is great location and views... Not good if you like the look of Kiln Park though...
