hiya new to this site.
were looking for new sites to stay on not to far from the midlands. Must have electric hook up and something for our 7 year old son to do. Weve done most sites in somerset so looking closer to home for the odd weekend away.
any advice would be great

never tried wales.
stuck mainly to somerset as had a caravan in storage down there but now have a motorhome so want to visit as many different places as we can. always nervous visiting new sites but I suppose can always pack up and move on hense why looking closer to home.
don't want any where to far off the beaten track to begin with. some of these tiny back roads can be a little nerve racking in a 25ft motorhome.
My favourite uk site is the caravan club site at Thurstaston on the Wirrall. It has a good play park, cycle trail up to the beach at west Kirby, easy train ride or ferry into Liverpool with lots of attractions, loads going on all around that bit of coastline, especially good when it's sunny. J x
