Have you thought about DW Fitness Clubs? Have a look at their site here and then check for camp sites in the area of the clubs. £22 a month - roughly for off-peak membership. Cheaper than most council baths.

Thanks Bridgelayer, unfortunately the memberships are for a full year which I don't need as I only need to cover trips away (swim with a Club when at home).
Stripedjeans, check with any DW club and ask. I believe the membership can be cancelled after 6 months, which covers the season. I know the membership form states 12 months, but our local club told me, and confirmed, that it could be done after 6.
