We are heading down to Dover from Cumbria on Thursday evening and want to break the journey overnight in the Stafford/Tamworth area. We won't be getting down there till around 9 or 10pm and as a last resort will have to spend the night on the services on the M6 unless anyone knows of a site close to the motorway that will accept very late arrivals.

Is Park Farm CL no good, as per your other post? I wouldn't want to stay on the services, did it once, never again. I'm sure they won't mind you arriving late, he will just collect your money in the morning, so long as you phone them first.
Last year at pillaton hall farm there was a caravan that arrived about 10ish the warden and caravan owner were in mobile contact with each other and they just opened the gates and pitched them up for the night
