Hi...

Has anyone camped here before please?

I was trying to get some prices so I could compare it to hiring a static here (which we have done previously) but when I put the length of my tent in it says too big for the site?

It is an 8 man tent and is 680cm long... the options are up to 6.7m then junps to the next option being up to 7m.. I chose the up to 7m option..

It only works if I say 6.7m..

Has anyone actually stayed here using a tent/caravan? Could I just book saying it is a metre smaller than it is?

Very frustrating lol.

I had the same issue a couple of years ago booking onto haven site. I just put the caravan size as a bit shorter. All of the grass pitches wouldn't have made any difference to an extra metre.

Brilliant, thank you.

I was hoping that would be the case as it is a lot cheaper than hiring a static during the summer holidays x

If size says 6.7m and your tent is 680 cm (is 6.8m) it is only 10cm longer. I'd go for smaller size or ring them.

we camped here last year and we have an outwell Vermont xlp and side awning and we were able to pitch it on a standard pitch on the outskirts of the elec field

only problem is as we found this park camping field is very very very poor drainage and last year we had to help 4 couples including our inlaws who got flooded out
