Have never visited the area before and have searched and researched for hours but can't make my mind up. Like the look/sound of High Fellgate or Greaves Farm. Have read all the reviews but would welcome any advice or suggestions.

We've been to Skelwith Fold nr Ambleside twice and its one of the best sites we've ever stayed at. Location, facilities, everything A1. Book a fully serviced pitch and get tv hook up and picnic table as well as the usual, well worth the little extra cost, and a great little shop for your essentials (wine, beers, etc !)
Bus stop at main entrance but allow 20 mins walk to get there
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
