Hi all looking for a good site that would take a tent with electric within about an hours drive from Alton towers (not south) as live in north east ideally would have a park for kids and a pub within walking distance? Any suggestions?

There are a couple of places I know of that are within 15-20 minutes on Alton Towers, may be closer.

The Raddle Inn, Hollington
Wood Farm, near Tean

Worth Googling for more information.
