Hi everyone, I'm planning on getting married next year & would love to have my wedding on a caravan site. I was hoping to take my touring caravan along with friends who also have tourers. But also need somewhere that friends can hire either statics or camping pods & pitch tents. Can anyone recommend anywhere? Thanks for your help in advance. Kathryn

Not sure where in the north you are thinking but I know they do them at Rivendale in the peak district. Lovely site with barn/restaurant they also have a pod village and yurts too. This site is almost adjacent to the tissington trail which is great for walks or cycling. J x

Rudding Park do weddings and have a caravan site. Not sure if they can combine the two but might be worth a phone call or maybe they could possibly suggest somewhere. Good luck, it sounds a great.

Akebar Park near Catterick Garrison could be worth a call. Apparently much better since renovation and change of owner.

How far north do you need to go?

Lumb Farm at Ripley in Derbyshire do weddings and have accomodation, also are happy for guests to use their field for tent camping and have a huge hardstanding carpark that they told us we were welcome to use for guests caravans for the weekend, although no EHU, but shower and toilet facilities available. There is a nice restaurant, and they have function rooms for hire and a wedding licence, it is possible to book for exclusive use, giving you the whole complex to use for the Day.
