not sure if anyone could help, but I have family visiting from Germany, in a 6m long camper, which cant enter the LEZ, but they wish to visit inner London, they are going to the Arsenal ground and then back to dover, so we are looking for a site on the south side of London with easy transport into London,
the site can be simple but they will have a dog with them.

Abbey Wood might be a good site for visiting Woolwich. The 180 bus goes from near the campsite. Abbey Wood is in the LEZ zone but you can go onto the Transport for London website for information. If he has a green Umwelt Plakette he is likely OK for the LEZ.
Theres a CC site at Chertsey as well with train into London. Old diesel camper will have red umwelt sticker or none at all. German owners often put a fake skull and crossbones umwelt sticker on their old campers.
If they have a yellow sticker and camper is old I would guess they have retro fit filter. If camper is pre 2002 but meets Euro 3 with retro fit filter then they can enter Lez. They will need to register with TFL though. I don't think foreign reg vehicles can be pursued for UK fines anyway.
