Hi we would very much like to go camping over the Summer Solstice in June and would like to go to a campsite that allows fires.

I have seen that Debden House in Epping Forest does, but their websites says there are no pitches available for those dates and despite emailing them twice I have never heard back.

So could anyone please help me find an alternative campsite suggestion near London that allow camp fires?

Johnny, we camped at Debden in the summer. We loved it. We didn't book until June/July, so maybe they just haven't set up their site to take bookings yet.. I don't think they're open until May.

Try again in May, if they've got space. (They usually do) then go! We stayed in field 2, family field. I've been told 3,4,5 can get busy with teenagers in the summer. We went Weds-Fri and had no problems at all. We're hoping to go in the May half term.
