We have a motor mover fitted to the folding camper- anyone have any experience of the speed bumps at this site? They mention them on their website so presume this is an issue for some units. Thanks for any information.

If you go over them very slowly you should be ok. I missed one last year by one of the kids telling me to look how high the stream was and did not slow down enough and smashed the jockey wheel. You have to go slow on that stretch of road but they are quite high so you will have to almost stop to go over them.

The speed bumps in question are on the approach road to the site not in the site itself. I have complained to the New Forest District Council in the past. They did inspect them but didn't consider them a problem. My complaint was mainly because of the deep potholes which wear away the road on the edge of the bumps on the grass verges. This is a problem if you meet another car coming in the opposite direction. The road itself runs down through an area where ponies gather and excess speed can be a problem to them. Also particularly in the dark deer are likely to run across in front of you. So it important they are there from that point of view. The road is also part of one of the Forest cycle routes. The bumps are fairly high but it is just a matter of driving slowly. Taken at more than walking pace they will rattle the caravan fairly badly. There are about six bumps involved.
Incidentally the Beachern Car Park at the top of the road where members used to park to wait for the 12-00 admittance time to the site has been changed and no longer a "drive through". If you arrive early you may have to reverse in or out if there are more than a couple of units there.
