Hi,
I'm looking for ideas on an area that has similar features to brean in somerset.
We have spent time there a lot over the years and enjoy it but would like to try somewhere new.
We have a 4 year old daughter so things for her to do are important.
The things we like with brean are: close to a sandy beach, swimming pool close by, funfair (not too important), quite a few pubs/restaurants to choose from if we eat out, things to do a short drive away (cheddar gorge, wookie hole, Weston super mare etc)
Approx 3.5 hours from derby DE72.
Any suggestions please ?

Skegness/ Mablethorpe or Scarborough are obvious, but personally given those requirements I would head to Great Yarmouth, or the Norfolk coast anyway.

Giving it more thought, a beach isn't a massive priority so long as there is a pool and play area for my daughter.
