Can anyone recommend a campsite in Dorset or South Devon that is set in woods, has a stream/river passing by, is no more than half an hours drive to the beach, and a pub within walking distance?
Cheers
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

That's my thought too - Birchwood would be my recommendation.

I second Red Shoot. It toom us ages to the beach as the New Forest roads are 40 mph, then overtaking motorhomes, cyclists, walkers, queueing through tiny towns. Good but not in a hurry.
We liked kite flying, walking and wandering/adventures in the woods.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
