I have searched the forum but unable to find any that directly answer, so I hope people don't mind me posting to ask.
I am looking to take the caravan to/near London, my Brother lives in London so I am hoping to spend a little time with him, so getting in and out of London on public transport (preferably the train or tube rather than the bus), ideally around a 30 minutes journey into London, and also would need to be able to get back at night on a few on the nights.
The other posts I have seen all seem to recommend both CC and C&CC sites, but we are not a member of either, so was wondering if anyone can recommend any sites. So far I have looked at the CC site Wyatts Covert in Denham, but this would mean me joining the CC.
I am driving down from Manchester, and am also looking to have a day out (driving) to Bletchley Park.
Just wanted to find some other options none CC or C&CC before I join either club.
Thanks

Feel nostalgic (probably the wrong word) for the trailer tent, but love the caravan. "Camping" all year round is fantastic.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

I have used it several times, not recently. Bus stops virtually outside takes you to Edmonton green them train into london. Its secure site always was nice and clean.

If all is not lost where is it then?

We stayed there a few years ago and it was very easy to travel into the city, nice walks (and pubs) along the canal near the site .
The C&CC site Gulliver's in Milton Keynes accepts non-members which would allow you to kill two birds with one stone so to speak. As has been said we have a very regular mix of fast and commuter trains into Euston. If you use private hire taxi's they are reasonably priced for getting around. There will also be a good bus service five minute walk from the site and most buses will go to the station. You will pay the non-member fee so you having work out whether its cheaper to be a member if you are staying four days or more. The same would be true of any other CC or C&CC site that accepts non-members.
