We are looking for a campsite from 30th July to 6th August for a family of 4 and a dog preferably Devon / Cornwall / south Wales any recommendations with any sites who may have availability. Must have electric hookup. Many thanks in advance.

Long time since I was that far south, so I won't recommend sites, but I will suggest you check which beaches allow dogs and which do not. With a Springer needing much exercise, it was a key factor for us. I think there was a thread about the topic a good while ago, if you use the Search tab.
If your family can amuse themselves with acres of open space and a beach, and you aren't a lunatic driver when you tow, you wont go far wrong with this site.
owner lovely, no stupid rules, walking distance to a dog friendly pub tat does decent food and blissfully quiet at night (pretty quiet during the day too!)

I can recommend Westacres Caravan site, Weston Super Mare, BS24 7TL. easy access off junc 21 M5. EHU, usual water & disposal points, Large pitches set amongst trees, minutes from Weston Super Mare seafront, Many Local beaches allow dogs all year Seaside attractions, Town, High street and local shops. Nearby: Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath, Bristol.
