Hello, we are based in oldham and are looking to spend our new year break in our touring caravan within a 2 hour drive. Can anybody recommend a site that has some entertainment on that is open for the new year please? Thanks

don't narrow search too much by trying to find a site with on site entertainment. We go away every new year and this year a few of us are booked onto a small site but there are 2 pubs very close by. I checked with one of the pubs and there is a live band and disco on new years eve.

The C&CC site at Windermere (Ashes Lane) used to stay open over NY with entertainment. Last time we went was about 5 years ago.

Why not try a rally with one of the clubs. Usually much cheaper and make friends too.

Yes. I liked Cromer(Seacroft) New year. We went a few years ago.Went to Wells-next-the-Sea New Years Eve day and the weather was brilliant. A few families were picnicking on the beach and a family of seals were sunbathing on the sand at the side of the water.
On New Years Day there was a firework display in Cromer on the front.

You could try Caravan and Camping club site at Great Malvern. We went last new year's eve and had a great time. They put a party on and you can bring your own food and drink. Dressing up theme last year too!
