Any campsite recommendations for a tent with electric hook up for the New Year? The cheaper end would be preferable. I am looking in East Cornwall/ Devon, preferably the North Coast, but I am considering other parts. Thanks!

No one has answered you for 24 hours. Are they all horrified at the idea?
If you really must spend New Year in a tent you could look at campsites at pubs - listed on Campsite search on here, though Google is throwing up a list of bunkhouses, bothies and camping barns which might be cosier, as we had a hard frost here in Cornwall last night.

I wouldnt have said horrified at the idea, more a case of you left it way to late and I seriously doubt that you could get booked in anywhere

Thanks for the advice and suggestions. I trawled through the 'open all year' sites and found lots. The ones I contacted have spaces for a crazy winter camper. I posted here as I was hoping that I might get some personal recommendations. I will have to post a review when I get back in from the cold in the New Year. Thanks guys!

As I promised, some feedback. I found plenty of all year campsites on the North Coast of Cornwall using the search feature. Budemeadows Touring park were lovely and friendly and happy to put themselves out for me, but in the end I stayed at Rosebud Farm, St Teath as it was a smaller site and within walking distance of a pub for New Years Eve! John and Terri were lovely and friendly, the site clean, spacious with fabulous views and the clincher was the new, heated shower and toilet block!

Looks good. Bit close to home for me but maybe a mini-break would be good. I've added it to my virtual brochure.
