we are coming over from Ireland in February to collect a caravan that we bought in Venture caravans going to stay two nights at the NEC show the problem is i am having is cant find a site open for the Friday 24 and Saturday 25 looking for one in Wales as we get the ferry back from Holyhead any help would be great

Have you looked on Camp Site Search? There seem to be several open-all-year sites near both the A55 (your preferred route?) and the A5, as well as one near Holyhead itself.
what about lady margarets park at chirk? if the weather is kind then you follow the a5 upto Holyhead if not then follow the a55 around the coast, not sure tho if you can stay if you aren't a cc member, even so its a lovely site and worth paying the membership fee for
