Hi all I have been looking on here for sites in Cornwall but am not all in a pickle as there are so many.
this would be our first trip to Cornwall so want it to be fantastic, want to travel about to see the popular bits and explore, there will be 2 adults and 1 child. looking for smaller sites not far from beach or shops ( food shopping) and also not to expensive, must have EHU has anyone and recommendations.
many thanks
happy new year all
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
If you want baseball c campsite with just toilets/showers a very small tiny shop, ehu, always kept clean and tidy and the owners are very friendly then try higher travaskiss. Just out side of Hayle, about 10 mins from st Ives and within 30 mins of most of the sea side towns worth seeing/ visiting.

Great site owned by the same family for over 40 years. They are very friendly and always on hand to help out if required.
Small club/bar, 4 lane ten pin bowling alley, outdoor pool. In between two great beaches Watergate Bay one side Mawgan Porth the other. Loads of other beaches within easy reach.
Good location for exploring Cornwall- Lands End, Eden Project, Newquay & Padstow to name a few. All within a 50 mile radius and an hours drive..
One thing I will say is we have always visited 'out of season' so not sure how busy it will be at this time of year,
Hi, we have been looking at Cornwall for Easter, however we won't be travelling due to a change of plans. We had decided on going to Newquay holiday park which is run by Parkdean, we stayed there last year on a star pitch and it was clean and tidy, level hard standing pitches, nice clubhouse with entertainment, good food and drink at a fair price and it also has an outdoor heated pool with a water slide. Price for 1 week Saturday 7th April was £139 including EHU. The park itself is on the outskirts of Newquay (5 minute drive) and also on the bus route, it is also only 15 minutes away from Perranporth, which in my opinion on a sunny day is the best place in Britain. Finally the camp itself is in a very good position for exploring the county. Enjoy your trip, Regards Adam
Also forgot to add, nearest Supermarkets Aldi, Asda & Morrisions are all about 5 to 10 minutes drive (£8 in a taxi), Asda also do delivery to your caravan if needed.
The beaches in Newquay are 5 minutes to the nearest one and 10 minutes to the furthest one, all with plenty to see and do.
Have a look at River Valley near St Austell. Certainly not overpriced at Easter. Nice big pitches and good facilities. Close to St Austell for supplies and some nice trials/walks from the site. Eden Project nearby if you're feeling flush (rich!).
