Hi planning a trip to this area in June and are looking for a friendly site with decent facilities near to dog friendly beeches and if possible within walking distance to a nice pub and shop?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi,
Well a bit of a white knuckle ride for the last two miles but Carreglwyd at Port Eynon .
Walk out the campsite and you are on the beach, (lifeguards on one side), loads of rockpools to examine.. 2 fish and chip shops ,a pub and small shop.
Ideal if you have kids.I think dogs are allowed on one side of the beach but worth checking.
Regards,
Greg
We stayed on cc site at gowerton . Due to not wanting to tow the roads in the Gower .
Or if you are in the club have a look at pembrey country park cc site . And day trip to the Gower .
Thanks for both replies, much appreciated! Spent all afternoon looking and checking reviews - I think we are going to try Nicholaston Farm - has excellent reviews and views and handy for the Coastal path! Dog friendly beaches nearby and the walks through Crawley Woods! All close to the Site! Not used our Caravan as much as we should since we moved house two years ago - so we need to get some nice breaks booked to convince ourselves to keep it! Cheers!

Thanks for your feedback Mo & Tel - we have done Pembrokshire and thought the beaches around the Gower looked fabulous - many appear to be dog friendly which is important to us! The Site has sone fantastic reviews! Not bad views either!! Mumbles looks a nice place to visit as well!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
