Hi there,
Does anyone know of any campsite which have swimming lakes, we went to one near oxford last year and was loads of fun? Anything up to 3hrs from Leeds would be fab, tia!

Takes us about 5.5 hours to Fforest Fields from Hull, so maybe slightly out of your range, but definitely worth the extra hour

Salop leisure in Shrewsbury have just opened a new site, really looks lovely n has a swimming lake. Shrewsbury is a gorgeous town n the surrounding countryside is stunning. Haven't stayed on the site as I live too near but their whole site is spot on n their customer service is outstanding .

I think Im sold on forest fields. Ive looked at it before but thought it was a fishing lake n couldn't swim in it. Thanks for the photos looks fab!

Side Farm , Patterdale, is on the shore of Ullswater. People do swim from the little gravel beach, but it is not for the faint of heart! (Cold)
