Tacos Taid at Newborough. It’s a Caravan Club CL with a transport museum and cafe. Only one toilet and shower but it’s only a small site. 5 minutes drive to Newborough forest where you can walk through to the dunes and a huge beach. There’s a little island which you can walk out to if the tide’s out. I don’t think it has a web site but you can find the museum if you Google.
We overnighted at Tai Hirion campsite back in July. Pitches have EHU and it seemed very quiet and pleasant with countryside - but not coastal - views.
We had to board a ferry to Dublin early the following morning so didn't get to explore the area at all, but the website says that the beaches are 3 miles away.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
