Instead of looking for another fun filled campsite it might be better to choose places along the way which will interest the family and visit them.
It might be Stonehenge, Longleat Safari Park, Portsmouth historic dockyard, fossil hunting on the Jurassic Park, steam trains on the West Somerset Railway, or any of the National Trust properties. Almost any campsite will do for an overnight stop near them, or with a campervan you can look at pubs offering stopovers and evening meals too.
