Hi all

We are hoping to get away this weekend and our first choice was Balloch O Dee however they don't have any EHU available for this weekend.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to go that's not too far a drive from Ayrshire, has EHU Tent Pitches and good for kids, preferably with good walking areas.

Thanks in advance!

XVI yes?

As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

You could try Mossyard near Gatehouse of Fleet, but it's Bank Holiday weekend (assume it's the same in Scotland?) if you get good weather, the beaches are lovely.

I can tell you Sandyhills has no EHU either, tried there myself!
Try Drumroamin (near Newton Stewart), cracking wee site & the far west of D&G might be quieter. Play area, walks at Garlieston House not far away.
And Brighouse Bay - commercial but big means they may have EHU left. And lots for children eg pool, trekking, beach.
And my favourite - Solway View, not far from Brighouse Bay but a farm site with fabulous views & walks, coves to explore.
Let us know how you get on!
