My partner feels that Camping & Caravan Club sites offer better security than commercial sites. We're tent campers and would be leaving the site for the day.
Specifically, I'm considering the Ridding's Wood site near Alfreton, Derbyshire - can anyone advise their experience here?
More generally, are commercial sites well staffed and patrolled?

It depends upon the site, and this applies to both club sites and commercial sites.

It pays to read the reviews on this site before visiting a site that you have not been to before.
