Looking for a campsite within 1 hour of Chester. Needs to have a play area and walking distance to a pub. Taking some novice campers so needs to be nice . Many thanks

Have you tried the camp site search facility at the top of the page? That will give you sites in any specific area and you can look at reviews. Might help you to narrow down the options.

There is Caravan and Motorhome Club site at Chester Fairoaks, it is close to Chesire Oaks outlet, buses to town from there or short drive in.
There are a couple of pubs a short walk away.I think it has a play area, most CMC sites do.
