Looking to book 2 weeks camping in cornwall in 2019.
Any got any recommendations, preferably not far from the beach.
Needs to be a campsite that has large pitches that can accomodate a 8m long tent, and has a playground on it or nearby.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
------------- April Peak District Beech Croft Farm
May Peak District Duke of York
May Holland Delfse Hout
June Cotton Arms Nantwich
july/aug Cornwall Pentewan Sands
And quite a few local weekenders
Will all have pitches to fit an 8m, if you have a more specific area such as East or West Cornwall and north or south coast etc iam sure you will get a few more replies.
Do you have a dog/dogs?
------------- It's better to ask a silly question than make a silly mistake.
Polmanter, St Ives
Padstow Touring Park
Helligan Gardens Camp Site
Dove Meadows, Marazion, doesn't have kids playground but there is a really good one by the sea just up the road.
You will not go wrong with looking at trevornick, like a 5 min walk to hollywell bay, beach, and only 10mins car drive from Newquay. Lovely camp site , Andy one of if not the best we have stayed on

We enjoyed Haven Perran Sands at Perranporth at Easter, I know Haven isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the touring site is a short walk away from the main site, the toilet blocks were immaculate, there was a lovely play park on the site, lovely walks over the dunes with our puppy, and if you want it the Haven amenities and entertainment on the site - our boys loved the surfing lessons.
The only downside was that the awning side of the pitch was quite waterlogged - but it was Easter and we had a lot of rain overnight most evenings.

Hi, we have just been on a site in Cornwall not far from the Lizard near Helston, it has large tenting pitches, with children's play ground, plus toilet & showers, 15mins walk to the beach or 5mins by car, site is called Silvers Sands, TR12 7lZ 01326 290631.
worth looking at we were there in June very quite then, they also have a few static caravans to hire as well & take a few caravans.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
