We will be going here next month, coming from the south. Someone has mentioned in the reviews that Audlem is tight to get through, how tight? would we be better going up to Nantwich and approaching from that direction?

if your route is from market drayton, then I don't see the problem at all, the road comes into the west of audlem and its just one left turn then about a mile or so and a right turn towards the marina, if it was me I certainly wouldn't have a problem using that road and we tow a twin axle

There are a few areas in Audlem that are tight but HGV's use it daily so just take your time and you should be fine. Enjoy Overwater Marina and have a look around Nantwich it's a nice market town..
