Hi. I’m looking for a 1 night stopover about 3 hours into our journey down the A1 which seems to be around Stevenage area. I don’t really want to go too far off the A1, and it’ll probably be around 9pm we arrive.
Don’t mind going a bit further if theres a good one just off the A1
Any recommendations?

I would certainly recommend it. Come off the A1 at Hatfield onto the A414, takes you straight to Hertford. It's my local area and I know it well. The site itself is lovely.

If you just want a stopover with no frills, try Radwell Mill, its about 3 minutes off the A1 at Baldock, If your a ccc member there is another a little further at Ashwell.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
