After spending a very quiet Christmas at home again, wondered if anyone knew of any campsites that are open at Christmas. Also if there are any friendly get-togethers, mince pies, mulled wine, etc. Would love to spend Christmas next year with like-minded people.

If you look at the Open All Year Listings that should give you some suggestions. You'd have to ask the site/s you were considering what they do for Christmas.

Have a look at Ross Park in Newton Abbot. We have just spent Xmas there and it was very good

Personally I would try the site first as it may not tick all of your boxes and stuck on a site for Christmas or new year that you don't like would be worse than staying at home.
