Hi does anyone know of any sites in the Derbyshire or Lincolshire area which offer short term pitches.
We have a caravan for our family who just fall short of the towing age by a couple of years and need to take tests.
In the meantime to use the tourer it would be more convenient if we could pitch it for 3 weeks for them to share between them visits, bearing in mind it will mainly be weekends as the children are at school so the van would be left possibly a few days each weekday unless my sister or best friend can use. Its simply to save us taking and fetching the van weekly for them when we ourselves want to go away!

We regularly had linked weekends, staying Friday to Sunday then leaving the caravan unoccupied during the week, on the pitch. This was usually out of the main season and we were charged between £10 and £15 for the five unattended nights. Not sure if the sites we used still offer this but you could ask. We have stayed at Knotlow Farm, Packhorse Farm Bungalow site and Laneside all in Derbyshire.
