Just received an email from CAMC asking people from very high risk areas, not to travel to less risky areas. They also state that they will ask everyone to register their visit with NHS Test & Trace. They may also check their home address to see if they came from a V.high risk area.

Pity I don't have a "smart"phone. That's going to make life awkward .

If they've already got your name and address via the booking there's no need to log in via the app. (I work for an arts centre and we've been told that's OK for people coming to a ticketed event. It's only people walking in for our gallery exhibitions/ to use the cafe who need to tap in.)

I wonder if all sites, I.e CLs etc will follow suit? I have a smartphone but it's old and I can't instal the app.

What they are they saying.
Stay in your own area, in your own county and do not travel out of it.
Not bad advise to be honest.

I live in Liverpool and was so looking forward to our half term holiday. I feel gutted now that we can’t go and really angry at those who have caused this situation by their thoughtless behaviour. I’ve hardly been out of my house since March. We were told to stay at home and so we did. Even when lockdown lifted, we still didn’t go out apart from a few weeks away in the caravan when we used our own facilities and didn’t go anywhere near another person. We have done everything we can to prevent the spread of the virus but now we are being penalised. I’m totally fed up! (Rant over!)

Pixie, I totally agree with your rant. We've been lucky at living in an area with few (if any) cases, but yet being subject to the same restrictions.

Living in a small village we still had to go shopping in town, get fuel, have the car serviced etc.. so that bit of our lives was pretty normal.
No campsites, no theatre, no National trust properties to visit etc...
If we didn't have a big garden and plenty of local walks, we'd have gone loopy.

As for travel restrictions, although I can see the reasoning behind them, if I did live in a 'bad' area, I'd want to get out of it and go somewhere nice in the van.

What are you supposed to do if you live in a Tier 3 area and you have a caravan on a seasonal pitch in another area, or in Wales, which needs to be either removed from site or winterized and stored before the end of October? Any thoughts?

The Welsh government have stated that you can go to winterize etc, but all precautions must be followed but not to stay the night.
