Are any campsites legally allowed to be open at the moment? I was under the impression that wasn't the case under the current restrictions, with a review to follow end of Jan?
I was wondering that myself. Tried Red House CS near Stowmarket yesterday, got short shrift but nicely. Now waiting for a reply from Noshoba in the same area, provisionally for w/c 6th March.
Just booked an independent adult-only site for August 2021 for 4 nights in North Devon.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I have sorted quite a few sites, and with sites recording record bookings already for this year, I would suggest contacting them now to plan your trips, or you may be disappointed and not able to get in to your usual or 1st choice of sites.
Most, if not all, sites will offer to transfer your booking to another date should restrictions not allow your holidays to take place

I was pondering that after I’d hit the Submit button. They’re hospitality, so they’ll be closed - except for essential workers. One site in Galloway had to put out a note saying the police knew that essential workers were staying, I think they’d been getting some local criticism. So you’re right, I’m wrong: apologies.
And it’s until mid February now for the restrictions too!
We have booked several sites with CAMC and C&CC from end of April onwards.
If we have to cancel then so be it but some club sites and adults only are already booked for the prime dates. As we're retired we can go out of school holidays which does make it a little easier. Can't wait to get out again, we will use our own facilities and be very careful.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Does camping in one's own unit outside one's property count as proper camping please, as that's what I may end up doing next month or in March when my van is finally finished?!
Joking aside, it makes sense to me to spend a night or two at home to get used to the new van before venturing out further afield.

So... just need to arrange a job working away somewhere nice, and tell my boss "All local Travel Inn types are full", and away we go!
Booked, with more hope than optimism, at a site on the Suffolk coast for Easter. They only had a couple of pitches left so it looks like others are thinking the same.
With domestic holidays looking more and more likely for 2021, I am glad to have booked an adult-only site for a short trip in August 2021!
I have booked 6 trips so far:
Easter
May (*)
June (*)
August
September x 2 (**)
* To attend an outdoor event.
** A trip to France, and a trip to attend an outdoor event.
If travelling to France is not favourable for whatever reason(s), then I shall go camping nearer to home instead.
As for the outdoor events, if they are cancelled, then I shall spend a few days to visit friends/family or just to relax.
Book early for UK to avoid disappointment I'd say!
